In Calgary we start our lawn mowing service in mid-May. Our Calgary lawn cutting service ends around the beginning of October depending on lawn growth. We visit your home once every week to maintain your lawn. We cut, trim the edges, and blow any accumulated debris from your common areas. If you experience slower lawn growth, then we can switch your lawn mowing service to biweekly lawn mowing (once every two weeks). Also check our power raking service.
Weekly Lawn Mowing Service or Every Two Weeks (Biweekly lawn mowing)
With every lawn mowing service we change the direction of the lawn cut. By changing the direction of the lawn mowing service we prevent tracks from developing in your lawn. Also, changing the grass cutting service direction helps stimulate growth. By changing the direction, it will confuse the grass blades to grow more vigorously.
With every lawn cutting service we maintain your lawn at 2.5 inches. By cutting Kentucky bluegrass at 2.5 inches, it promotes deep root growth and helps the lawn resist pests and diseases. This cutting height also ensures a thick, healthy lawn by providing optimal conditions for the grass to thrive. This cutting height does not hold true for all grass types but for our Kentucky Bluegrass and Red fescue hybrids it is best.
Feeding your lawn is crucial for its health and appearance. You can start by efficiently using the rain though having your lawn power raked and aerated. Also, regular fertilization provides essential nutrients that promote deep root growth, resist pests, and enhance the lawn’s vibrant green color. A well-fed lawn is more resilient to environmental stresses and maintains its lush, thick texture. We recommend 1-2 fertilizer applications per season, and we offer an excellent fertilize service.
